Our Hereford-Angus F-1 Cross calves are the product of straightbred parents. The Hereford bulls take the edge off the Angus’ disposition and add the characteristics of longevity, soundness, fertility, and efficiency to the offspring. Research and experience has shown that these exceptional calves gain faster and do exceptionally well in the feedlot.
Our repeat buyers confirm that Circle B’s baldy calves prove to be fast gaining, manageable, strong and healthy year after year. They excel in feed efficiency and conversion. Circle B calves deliver and prove that the baldy is the most desirable package in the cattle business today.
Most buyers do not routinely provide the producer with the statistics on how calves finished. However, Adam’s Land and Cattle are one of our repeat buyers who has generously provided us with the closeout information on our calves. Last year they purchased over 400 of our steers. They reported that those steers had an average daily weight gain of 4 lbs and were 91.5% Prime and Choice.
